The wicked Snow Queen captures a boy, Kay, and takes him to her ice palace. Kay's friend Gerda sets out to rescue him, with the (unexpected) help of her grandmother Granny Rose, Andy the village DIY expert and Summer, the Snow Queen's good sister.
